Dr. Jordan is a clinical psychologist who works with adolescents and adults. She has extensive experience in the area of trauma-related disorders (Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and Dissociative Disorders) and anxiety disorders (Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety, Phobias, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). Her treatment approaches include cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), clinical hypnosis, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), interpersonal therapy (IPT), and group therapy. Dr. Jordan is actively involved in training and research and is a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa. She has won awards at the University of Ottawa for clinical supervision and teaching. Dr. Jordan's individual waitlist is currently closed (as of March 31, 2012) with some exceptions for adolescents. If you inquired about services prior to March 31, 2012, Dr. Jordan will contact you to discuss your waitlist status. Dr. Jordan will continue to accept referrals for the Assertiveness Groups. |
